Alba Restaurante Espanol is the Home of Traditional Spanish Cooking operating since 1952. Undoubtedly, among all of the Spanish restaurants in Manila, it has the longest staying power.
For Php 715.00 you can feast in an authentic Spanish Lunch Buffet.
They have a wide selection of mouthwatering dishes from appetizers to desserts, including an array of Tapas, Soup, Salad, Vegetables, Meat, Tortilla, Ensaladas, Pasta and Paellas.
We tried their Baked Clams, Homemade Spanish Sausage, Braised Beef with Beans, Calamares Fritos, Spanish Cured Ham, Embutido, Spicy Spanish Sardines, Cordon Bleu, Fish fillet and Sauteed Prawns but the best of them all is Cochinillo Asado, the oven roasted suckling pig. It was extremely delicious!
For dessert we had cheesecake, custard cake, maja blanca and tarts among others.
I adore their Strawberry Banana Shake. It was heavenly!
Over-all, the place has a cozy fine dining feel and food presentation was also good.

They have two other branches at Westgate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City and Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
Alba is certainly one of the best places to sample Spain's culinary treasures at their finest.
